Nairobi in bloom – October 2010.
My very first trip to Africa was in September 2002. That trip was mostly hotels and airports moving through Dar us Salaam, Tanzania; Lusaka, Zambia; Accra, Ghana; and a couple of transits through Johannesburg, South Africa along the way. Lusaka stands out because the entire city was purple with blooming jacaranda trees.
