Happy New Year

Okay – so I know I’m a bit slow, but I am right now back up on the mountain in SW Oregon, in a little shed/cabin, no electricity, and my woodstove working like crazy to heat water for my morning cocoa.

Last year was quite the whirlwind, and I still haven’t put up all of my Saudi Arabia photos and stories here. This past year in addition to Saudi Arabia I was in Rwanda, Mozambique, Zambia, Angola, and Ghana . . . I think that covers it. It was a great year in terms of work with new clients and interesting assignments.
In addition to starting the year with this quick week long trip to check up on our second ‘home’ in SW Oregon, I’m looking forward to my first work in Papua New Guinea at the end of January. While I love Africa and keep finding new places to explore, I’m excited about the opportunity to do a bit of work in Asia.
Off to get the day started (and get my father on his way steelhead fishing!)
Happy New Year!
