Bo Kaap, Kapstaad (Cape Town)

Nestled against Signal Hill, Bo-Kaap is a wonderfully colorful neighborhood.  A historic center for Cape Malay culture, the area is quickly becoming gentrified.  These are a few photos I took in late August of this year, when I was in Cape Town for a soybean conference.

The below Bo-Kaap Museum dates back to the 1780s and is the oldest home in Bo-Kaap in its original form.
